Liverpool Defeats Blackburn Rovers

Philippe Coutinho scored the only goal of the game as Liverpool booked their place in the semi-finals of the FA Cup at the expense of Blackburn Rovers.

Chances were at a premium for both sides during the opening 70 minutes.

Coutinho eventually broke the deadlock as he exchanged passes with Jordan Henderson on the edge of the box before rifling a shot into the bottom corner via the post.
