Are You Still Chasing Every Shiny Object?

I am a firm believer in the fact that "multiple streams of income is the path to riches and wealth" and so I not only practice it myself but I also Teach, Train and Mentor other persons to practice it.

Though it is a good practice, but in Multi Level Marketing Business, I have noticed a trend that has not paid out well for many persons.

And that trend is that many Networkers are unable to concentrate and get focused in the pursuit of the financial liberation which owning one's own business offers.

There are people who simply cannot settle down to puruse a given Network to its expected conclusion before moving on; there are those who just want the immediate cash that comes from the first few months of activity in a given network and then they are off to another, especially if it is just arriving as usual from either USA or China or Malaysia.

Those people are the ones that are usually said to be "chasing every shiny object"

I have a friend who has done literally all the network businesses that have landed in Nigeria since 1998/99.

When Tianshi came, he was one of the first to sign up, he promoted it like tomorrow would not come, he made quite some good amount from there,

then GNLD came, wow, their Complan was something extraordinary and my friend jumped ship, he spoke, ate, breathed GNLD, he had an attic filled with products

and then Forever Living came, oh my God!! this was it. He told me that he had finally found a base, did I believe him?

Suddenly we started hearing of Green World and the mouth watering compensation plan, Jeez, he jumped ship again

then Kedi arrived from China, and he was among the first 500 distributors

As he was jumping ship in the product based MLMs, so was he jumping ship in the Ponzi Schemes of the time

In all of these MLM Businesses, there were some he made some good money Yes, but he never won any awards nor got any recognitions because he did not have enough staying power to work on just one and make the best out of it.

Today, the trend is still there amongst Networkers especially those who want to earn fast; they forger that Network Marketing Business like every other business is BUILT before PROFITS come in.

I have seen People who are right now involved in the latest amazing business of Phytoscience but who are also dispensing energy getting involved in such others as Coinamia, peepcoin, givehelp international, swisscoin, onecoine, twocoins,e.t.c. MMM, MMT, BIT, and all such.

They tell me that though they are having their gaze on the bigger picture which is Phytoscience, but need the coins to keep going.

While I have nothing of course against anyone who wants to spread their efforts thin, it is their lives alright, however I can only advise that getting focused on one thing for a time is the way to build a good business.

If you really want to succeed in any worthwhile life endeavours, you really need to get focused.

Chasing every shiny object that comes into the horizon is surely the recipe for monumental failure
